CoolWater Chesapeakes

Nestled in the heart of Central Florida, we are dedicated to the betterment of the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. We believe a Chesapeake should be well-rounded, conformationally correct and have a good temperament coupled with a strong retrieving/working desire.

We strive to work our dogs in multiple venues - the field as well as the conformation and obedience rings - but first and foremost they are family members and our daily companions.

We truly believe the Chesapeake Bay Retriever is a multi-purpose dog with a multitude of talents.

All of our dogs are CERF'd for signs of cataracts, OFA'd for signs of hip dysplasia and PRA'd (when necessary) to see if they are carriers of Progressive Retinal Atrophy - a serious condition that can cause blindness in Chesapeakes.
